With all the confidence that comes from years of experience Alpes propose a wide-ranging and varied collection of yarns for the 2011/2012 Autumn-Winter season focusing on the lasting value of quality, but offering also daring structural and chromatic flights of fancy.
The collection Alpes A/W 2011-2012 is inspired by four themes:
DREAM
Sensuality and fluidity are the main characters of the yarns with the "skin" touch in wool and viscose or in prestigious blends with cashmere and silk.
Extreme lightness and new iridescent hues enhance the exquisite Kid Mohair yarns
SHELTER
Full protection and comfort are inspired by thicker yarns in misty winter tones; this thema is interpreted by swollen rowing yarns in mélange colours, original slubby yarns in mouliné and bulky bouclés blended with alpaca
HERITAGE
The wealth of tradition is expressed through a series of warm archaic hues and yarns enriched by the precious alpaca in an extensive range of different counts from the finest for veiled knits to the thickest for wrapping and light garments
ENERGY
The best fine merinos wools are used in the pure wool and traditional blended yarns to achieve perfect regular surfaces
